I'm always amazed at the comings and goings of our
'first family,' particularly when it comes to all things
Islamic. When Michelle Obama traveled to Spain she
showed particular interest in areas where Islam set up
shop after various European conquests. The next quote
links to an excellent post which provides a little
unsettling history on the subject -
'Were messages exchanged between Michelle Obama
and the principals of the Great Mosque at Granada on
August 5, 2010?'
According to another article I found on the net, most
of Portugal was under Islamic control from 711 to
1249. Consequently, when the Obamas keep turning
up in these areas of prior Muslim domination my
interest is peaked.
During his recent trip to Portugal, 'the president'
mentioned the fact that his dog is a 'Portuguese
Water Dog.' Sure. No problem. But when I heard the
audio of his speech it sounded more like he was
likening the dog Bo, in a more literal sense, to the
Portuguese people. Considering how the Muslims view
dogs - as unclean - the comment caught my attention.
In short, referring to people as dogs or equating
them with such is typical code for the 'infidel' or
the 'unclean' to those who practice Islam.
It's certainly not a compliment!
* Quick note: Most of my readers have probably
surmised that I really believe we have a closet Muslim
currently holding the office of president of the United
States. *
With that in mind, let's break into some commentary:
In his latest escapade, he traveled to a country once
dominated by Islam and equated his dog to that
people/nation. Many see this as cute, especially here
in the U.S.. But I wonder how Muslims heard those
comments? They were driven out of Portugal and now
their 'man' goes over there and seems to equate the
Portuguese people to dogs. This is highly subliminal
stuff. We love dogs in the U.S. but they are not highly
regarded in the Islamic world. I truly believe this man
has a subtle ability to denigrate Christians while
managing a 'wink and a nod' to his Muslim audience.
Here's what 'the president' said -
'And I understand that there’s been a fair amount of
interest here about how my family has been enriched
by Portugal as well, specifically Bo, our dog. He is the
most popular member of the White House.'
Not a big deal? Well, how about when he is pictured
talking on the phone to the Israeli Prime Minister with
the sole of his shoe showing? That speaks volumes to
those who understand Middle East culture. It is an
open communication to those who understand the
disrespect behind such a pose. I really believe these
subtle clues reveal Obama's loyalties. But the dog
comment seems so innocuous....
2 paragraphs later he refers to Africa:
'And as Portugal prepares to take its seat on the U.N.
Security Council, we discussed how we can work
together around the world, including our shared goal
of promoting development in Africa, where Portugal
has historic ties.'
Hmmm... Portugal 'tied' to Africa? Well yeah, the
Muslims invaded from Northern Africa back in the 8th
century but I'm sure that wouldn't be looked on
nostalgically especially for their relatives who
managed to live through it or those who died trying to
drive the Muslims out! In Islamic eyes, however, to be
'reconnected' could be viewed as another opportunity
for victory after a centuries old defeat.
Next, 'the president' started talking about trade and
'clean' energy. Remember, dogs are considered ritually
unclean in Islam. In a sense, he's gone full circle with
this speech-Hi Portugal! I have a Portuguese dog! You
are still tied to Africa! That's the place where my
brother Muslims came from before they invaded you!
We're gonna reconnect ya, okay? Be clean now...
Yup. That's my translation. I wonder how his fellow
Muslims took it? I bet they only need to hear a few
'buzz words' which have loaded meanings in their
culture.
Call me crazy, but in my ever so humble opinion, I
think it's increasingly enlightening to read what 'the
president' says while he is roaming around the world.
I'll also never forget the dream a man had
early on in Obama's presidency: The U.S. was
attacked in multiple cities. Obama surrendered
because he said he wanted to avoid further
loss of life. Then 'the president' said the
enemies agreed to let him remain in power.
I bet some Muslim terrorists would agree to that deal.
