The citizens of California voted to define marriage as between one man and one woman during a recent election (proposition 22), however the lawless judges in the state of California evidently chose to ignore the will of the people. They're calling it 'gay' marriage. Surely this is satan's play on the often used term; happily married. The devil is always busy mocking and imitating God. Anyone who thinks satan is not active today must have his or her head buried about 1 foot deep in the nearest flower bed. You can't look at the news without seeing his hand as if directing a symphony. The mug shots of some of the latest criminals resemble those possessed, and some of those news stories back up that theory. The fashions today also seem inspired by the demonic. Can you imagine being a little child in this society? Corruption, filth, indecency and satanic images abound. Sure, there is much good also, however it is increasingly difficult to see beyond all the evil. One can't even go to the grocery store without a lesson in soft porn. Try passing through the teen fashion area in your local department store. I have my opinions why women's fashions are so often ridiculous and men's are so far superior, but I won't go there right now. The overall goal is obviously to desensitize people to overt sexuality whether it be in fashion, media or entertainment. The disordered and promiscuous agenda can go forward from there, once that goal is accomplished. Reports are that the summer movies will be more degenerate and offensive then ever.

The public schools are actually teaching these things, rather than basic academics! They forbid soda and potato chips, but teach children that homosexuality is normal and healthy behavior. They probably don't tell them that statistics prove that people who practice homosexuality die an average of 8 to 20 years prematurely. Now lets move onto the propaganda: Harry Potter is, for all practical purposes, required reading. I've been told the same can be said about the blasphemous DaVinci Code. Now there are over 1,000 and the 'shocked' Governor described the entire state as 'filled with smoke.' Is this hard to figure out? Maybe it is for those who deny God's power or the favor of His protection. He absolutely holds all things together. Do evil acts bring evil winds? Does God simply remove His protective hand from an area when they practically chase Him out? I've heard it said that God is the ultimate Gentleman; He won't go where He isn't wanted. Would He protect an area which has given itself over to evil? One of the devil's names is 'destroyer.' Is he given free reign on an area if they reject God, His laws and His protection?

I pray that all persecutors of Holy Mother Church experience the bright Light he experienced. May we all receive the conversions we need in this Pauline year. Also, please pray for and lovingly admonish sinners, as Saint Paul taught us to do. Don't applaud them. May you also have a hero, especially one who has courage and speaks the truth. My hero is the Holy Father; Pope Benedict XVI. May he guide us all through this coming storm. For God has always had a representative on earth; Noah, Moses, Abraham, etc... He has not left us orphaned. We have a Shepherd. Please pray for Pope Benedict and the entire persecuted Church, including all those who need conversion throughout this troubled world.
