The recent Japanese earthquakes are in an area
where one of the most ominous, Church approved
apparitions ever took place - Akita, Japan. There,
on October 13, 1973, the Blessed Mother delivered
an extremely stern warning to mankind.

"As I told you, if men do not repent and better
themselves, the Father will inflict a terrible
punishment on all humanity. It will be a
punishment greater than the deluge, such as one
will never have seen before. Fire will fall from the
sky and will wipe out a great part of humanity, the
good as well as the bad, sparing neither priests
nor faithful. The survivors will find themselves so
desolate that they will envy the dead. The only
arms which will remain for you will be the Rosary
and the Sign left by my Son. Each day, recite the
prayers of the Rosary. With the Rosary, pray for
the Pope, the bishops and the priests.

The work of the devil will infiltrate even into the
Church in such a way that one will see cardinals
opposing cardinals, and bishops against other
bishops. The priests who venerate me will be
scorned and opposed by their confreres. The
Church and altars will be vandalized. The Church
will be full of those who accept compromises
and the demon will press many priests and
consecrated souls to leave the service of the
Lord.

"The demon will rage especially against souls
consecrated to God. The thought of the loss of so
many souls is the cause of my sadness. If sins
increase in number and gravity, there will no
longer be pardon for them."

She reiterated -

"As I said before if mankind does not repent, the
Heavenly Father will inflict a very serious
punishment on the whole world; a punishment the
likes of which has never happened before. Many
people will perish. Pray the Rosary often. Only I
can prevent the disaster. Whoever entrusts
themselves to me will be saved."

These warnings took place on the 56th anniversary
of the Miracle of the Sun in Fatima, Portugal (1917).

That was the day the sun left it's heavenly abode
and hurled itself down toward a crowd of 70,000
people gathered to see a promised miracle.

Pretty intense, astronomical stuff....

The apparitions in Akita, Japan, were said to be a
continuation of Our Lady's message in Fatima and
notably, fifty-six years later, Akita again warned of
fire from the sky.

There is a more recent prophecy which speaks of
a future fear of fire from the sky and mentions a
strange loud rumbling which will be heard during
this period. If you search the net you will come
across many reports of an unexplained rumbling.

Here's that recent prophecy I was referring to (it is
known as the 1990 prophecy) -

1990 PROPHECY – December 3, 1990

"In four years there will arise a new evil the likes
of which mankind has never before encountered.
It will arrive almost imperceptibly, with few people
noticing the depth of its evil, for it will appear to
have beneficial and convenient aspects. It is an
evil comparable to abortion -- that is to say, that
even if evils as great and widespread as abortion
were to be eliminated, this is enough of an evil
that it would present mankind with an enormous
challenge. This evil is being allowed as a test
because of the prayers inspired by Mary to put off
chastisements. How mankind responds to this new
evil will determine the extent, length, and severity
of the first chastisements. These chastisements
will differ according to regions, and like the great
evil, will not always or usually be immediately
noticeable for what they are. In the period also will
be a warning that involves not fire from the sky but
fear of fire from the sky, and strange loud
rumblings. This, according to mankind's response,
will then be followed by another chastisement, or
the inevitable onset of the change of era. Your
era is ending. Soon the world will not be the world
you know. I am not speaking of a barren world, or
one depopulated, but of the end of your
technological era. Many inventions of mankind
will be broken down and there will be more of a
peasant attitude and way of life everywhere.
After this breakdown of false society will come
persecution of Christians and also a new world
order.

The antichrist will be on earth trying to affect the
new world order. Hardly anyone will notice the
extent of his influence until afterwards. He will
not be of tremendous visibility until he is
accomplished. That is to say, he will not rule,
control, and be at all obvious to the world at the
peak of his influence. He will not be unlike a
figure such as Marx, except his ideas will be
more immediate.

"I will come not as a man of flesh, but like My
mother, who already nurses Me and holds Me in
her arms, as a light and power. I will manifest
Myself in a series of supernatural events similar
to the apparitions but much more powerful. In
other words, My second coming will be different
than My first, and like My first, it will be spectacular
to many but also unknown initially to many, or
disbelieved. Yet truly I tell you, the arrogance of
the world will have been broken, and so many
more than normal will believe.

"I will come in towering light.

"My mother held me in her arms at Medjugorje,
as an infant.

"I will come as she has come, in light.

"Know this about the world: I would not appear on
television, nor ride a car, nor travel in an airplane.

"Would I come in such a manner?

"Would I live in such a world?

"You think of the changes in very simple ways,
without realizing the fundamental mistakes of
mankind.

"The very artifice of your societies is false and
against the accordance of God's Will.

"This artifice shall not last.

"Your very conceptions of happiness and comforts
are a great evil and falsity.

"They will not stand.

"My greatest nemesis is science, even more so
than the media. The science that alters life, the
science which creates a counterfeit heaven, the
science that toils with the womb and genes, the
science that has filled the air with the power of the
enemy, the science which creates chemical
witchcraft and fouls the earth, the science which
seeks to create life but cannot in actuality even
sustain it, the science which has denied God.

"This will fall, and all of its creations with it.

"The seat of Satan in America is north of San
Francisco.

"New York City is under an evil cloud and will be
for 12 years. Do not go there. The pride there will
be broken.

"As for the antichrist, remember Europe, and
especially Central Europe.

"Yet know too that God's Hand will be evident in
South America.

"The world will not end but change."


Many of us believe the 'new evil' is embryonic
stem cell research and cloning. Now, the genetic
intermingling of human and animal genes
(probably even insect, I bet) has added yet
another crime against humanity.

The first part of the now 3 part 1990 prophecy was
given on Terri Schiavo's birthday. I believe the
drama surrounding her execution also opened a
period of personal testing for individuals on life
issues. EVERYONE had an opinion on her
execution. There was absolutely no gray area.

It was strange how many of Terri's sufferings
coincided with the ultimate death of Pope John
Paul II. For a while I was almost convinced he was
taking on some of her physical pains. Pope John
Paul died 3 days after Terri Schiavo passed away
on the eve of the Feast of Divine Mercy (especially
known for its 3pm devotion). In 2005, during Holy
week and slightly beyond, they were the 2
prominent witnesses of the sanctity of human
life in our world.

Pope John Paul II will be Beatified on May 1, 2011.
2011 is an astronomically loaded year, beginning
around his beatification.

An update to the 1990 prophecy  was on the
site SPIRITDAILY.COM 14 years later -

1990 PROPHECY - Part 2 - December 22, 2004

"There is going to be a major disruption in a region
of the world that will affect everyone. The world is
now seriously out of conformance with the Will of
God and what He created and intended. There are
those who would reconfigure the very creatures
He has formed, and who meddle with the texture
of life. For this reason, the Lord will allow a huge
reorientation. If not for the action of Heaven, what
God has created on earth will soon be damaged
beyond recovery. A very dramatic effect already
is in progress as regards the support structures of
what man calls nature. Such cannot be allowed to
take the final realization of total realignment when
it comes to the very way elements and life forces
interact. The event to come will surprise everyone
who has offered a prognostication, and will show
even recalcitrant scientists, though not all, that
there is a fundamental alarm in Heaven over their
arrogant and wayward course. Nothing that is
artificial in a way that disrupts what God intended
will be allowed to stand.

"Heed this too: the politics of denial will be struck
as with a plague.

"The smallest of what lives is precious in My sight.

"The angels have their instruction from east to
west, and now a timetable has been set in motion.

"When the huge light is seen, I will act in a way I
have not acted before."

This second update to the 1990 prophecy occurred
on December 22, 2004; four days before the
massive 9.2 earthquake and tsunami in the Indian
Ocean. Over 230,000 people lost their lives. This
breath-taking calamity opened the door to modern
day mega-quakes and resulting tsunamis which
can wipe entire areas off the map in a matter of
minutes. Amazingly, the Japan quake happened
on the first Friday of Lent and clocks showed
the resulting tsunami struck at 3pm (the hour of
Divine Mercy).

The last update to the 1990 prophecy (next
paragraph) was on September 25, 2010. It's
interesting to note that comet Elenin orbit
projections indicate it will be on earth's doorstep
exactly on the year anniversary of the third part
of this prophecy. As a matter of fact, there is a
computer animation which shows the sun blinking
out while Elenin passes between the earth and
the sun on September 26th while it's tail sweeps
in our direction.

6 years later came the next prophetical word -

1990 PROPHECY – Part 3 September 25, 2010

"The trials of your time now head to the crescendo
of meaning, whereby to each will be shown the
imperfection of the past and the need for
purification of the future. In these transgressions
is found the enemy of Creation, and the one who
seeks to install his spirit as the spirit that conquers
for all time. It is a final battle in which the trials of
the future will serve as engagements complete
unto themselves. Those who choose to ignore
the dynamic of spiritual interaction will find
themselves in a very confused state that will lead
to more conflict. While love prevails, so does
courage, and so does the uncovering of those
spirits which now install themselves as guardians
for those who have invited into their hearts falsity.
The angels stand ready to assist those who
unleash power with humility and belief. Only
those in union with God will be able to see in the
darkness which so many expected and that
already is upon the earth. New Mexico I have
ordained as a beacon of light and also the place
near the water where the cross stands. In this
time, expect the error of premature expectation,
but not [error in] the truth of the expectation itself.
For these times, you have the Rosary, and even
more so, the praise. In union with God comes all
protection, as the dark spirits are now allowed
to materialize in full due to the pretense and
aspirations of man. Not until the initial event
will the curtain be drawn that reveals the entirety
of the plan, and even then, it will be parted only
slowly, in the woes of purification."

Interesting how New Mexico is mentioned in part
3. That is where Comet Elenin was discovered -
in a Russian run observatory operating there.

Last year's 'signs in the sky' seemed to point to
Our Lady's Fatima apparition. This year, so far,
has brought to mind her LaSalette mission. Now,
through the earthquake in Japan, we are reminded
of her Akita, Japan apparition:

'Beginning on September 20, 1973, the statue began
to sweat from the face to the feet. Tears began to
flow down the face. Also, a very pleasant odor was
felt in the chapel. This happened many times in the
presence of others, including the Bishop. In all, the
statue wept a total of 101 times.'

Because of Akita, 101 will always have prophetic
meaning for me. Below is a photo of the comet -











When I saw the photo of Elenin I was struck by it's
odd appearance. Supposedly, this is due to it's
motion and the photo's exposure time. After a few
days of seeing this picture, I thought of Akita and
recalled 101. Isn't it interesting that, if rotated, this
image would actually look like a 101?

More from Our Lady of Akita:

Hmmm....Pretty intense stuff. Do you think
humanity has repented and bettered itself since
1973?

There is much good in the world but there is
far too much rot, filth and degenerate behavior
which now is threatening the very innocence of
children, perhaps even blocking their path to God.

Purification is surely in the offing.

Not too long ago I wrote about the permanently
planted White House Christmas tree and some
unusual images I noticed in the digital photo.
Here's that post. The images seemed to point to a
part of Scripture that spoke of souls under an altar
who were 'slain for the word of God, and for the
testimony which they held.' In the Book of
Apocalypse those souls ask, "How long, O Lord
(holy and true) dost thou not judge and revenge
our blood on them that dwell on the earth?" They
were given white robes and told to "rest for a little
time, till their fellow servants, and their brethren,
who are to be slain, even as they, should be filled
up."

Lately, We have certainly seen more and more of
our fellow Catholics and Christians being slain for
their witness to Jesus Christ. The mainstream
media seems committed to blaming many
atrocities and genocides in villages, for example,
on political problems when most of the violence
is perpetrated by Muslims who kill Christians
simply for being Christian. Of course, Israel is
constantly under threat of attack also.


These things have I spoken to you, that you
may not be scandalized. They will put you out
of the synagogues: yea, the hour cometh, that
whosoever killeth you, will think that he doth a
service to God.  And these things will they do
to you; because they have not known the
Father, nor me.  But these things I have told
you, that when the hour shall come, you may
remember that I told you of them.

                                      ~ John 16: 1-4

So, what would follow such earthly martyrdoms?
In Scripture the 'Sixth Seal' follows the Altar
scene -

'And I saw, when he had opened the sixth seal,
and behold there was a great earthquake, and
the sun became black as sackcloth of hair: and
the whole moon became as blood: And the stars
from heaven fell upon the earth, as the fig tree
casteth its green figs when it is shaken by a
great wind:  And the heaven departed as a
book folded up: and every mountain, and the
islands were moved out of their places.  And
the kings of the earth, and the princes, and
tribunes, and the rich, and the strong, and
every bondman, and every freeman, hid
themselves in the dens and in the rocks of
mountains:

'And they say to the mountains and the rocks:
Fall upon us, and hide us from the face of him
that sitteth upon the throne and from the wrath
of the Lamb: For the great day of their wrath
is come, and who shall be able to stand?'

              ~ Book of Apocalypse 6:12-17

Could comet Elenin be the vehicle of the Sixth
Seal? I have no idea. But the meaning of Elenin
does cause one to pause. The comet was
discovered by Leonid Elenin. The comet is always
named after it's discoverer, hence the name -
Comet 'Elenin.'

Leonid = Lion  

Last name: Elenin

EL = ALMIGHTY GOD

There is no 'e' in Hebrew BUT 'e' in spanish means
'and'

Nin = Son or 'the heir to the throne'

So, if we include the first name of the Russian who
found the comet, the comet's name means -
Lion, Almighty God and Son  ('heir to the throne').

Blessed Hildegarde spoke of a comet -

'Before the Comet comes, many nations, the good
excepted, will be scoured with want and famine.
The great nation in the ocean that is inhabited by
people of different tribes and descent by an
earthquake, storm and tidal waves will be
devastated. It will be divided, and in great part
submerged. That nation will also have many
misfortunes at sea, and lose its colonies in the
east through a Tiger and a Lion.

The Comet by its tremendous pressure, will force
much out of the ocean and flood many countries,
causing much want and many plagues. [After the]
great Comet, the great nation will be devastated
by earthquakes, storms, and great waves of water,
causing much want and plagues. The ocean will
also flood many other countries, so that all coastal
cities will live in fear, with many destroyed. All
sea coast cities will be fearful and many of them
will be destroyed by tidal waves, and most living
creatures will be killed and even those who
escape will die from a horrible disease. For in
none of these cities does a person live according
to the laws of God.'

Even though the many in the Church refer to
Hildegard as a saint, she wasn't officially
canonized, only beatified (she was one of the
first candidates - it was attempted 4 times but
not completed). Her feast day is September 17th.
Interestingly, Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict
have always referred to her as St. Hildegard.

Perhaps this isn't St. Hildegarde's comet. But the
name attached to this heavenly body is certainly
loaded with meaning and worth watching, very
closely.

Lastly, we had a report a few weeks ago about an
'asteroid' that is due to make a close approach
to earth on 11/9/2011. Here's a link to that article.
A few of us think this 'asteroid' looks more like
a planet of some kind. I never bought the 'planet X'
theories but that thing really does not look like an
asteroid.

The date for this near miss could also read 9/11/11
or 11/9/11. It definitely bears watching.

The numbers involved also brought to mind my
commentary on the star of Bethlehem. A close
grouping of several planets on 11/6/01 caught my
attention:













It was a little unsettling to see the numbers
involved: 11/6/01.
If you flip the date it would read 11/9/01
the very date of the radical Islamic attack on the
United States (most countries put the number of
the day before the number of the month).

9/11/2001 took place 33 days after this country
opened the door to the antigospel by allowing
'limited' embryonic stem cell exploitation and
destruction.

A Catholic woman from Louisiana who had a near
death experience in the 70's also said that if we
went ahead with cloning God would 'come down
on us.'

While Pope Benedict XVI was still a Cardinal he
warned:

"God will take action to counter an ultimate
crime, an ultimate act of self-destruction,
on the part of man. He will take action
against the attempt to demean mankind by
the production of slave beings. There are
indeed final boundaries we cannot cross
without turning into the agents of the
destruction of creation itself, without going
far beyond the original sin and the first Fall
and all its negative consequences"



If we connect the dots, it becomes fairly obvious
how dangerous this world will become the more
people turn their backs on Christ and His Gospel
while embracing a gospel of death which exploits
human life.

Perilous times are indeed upon us...

Pray, pray, pray.
