When I first saw the photos of the oil slick in the Gulf of Mexico, I was particularly struck
by how much the oil resembled blood. This is a multifaceted commentary so please bear
with me. Water, which appears to be laced with blood, is now arriving on our shores. In
searching the internet using some key words, I came across a few interesting facts. At
this point, if I were to blame anyone for this plague of Egypt-type event, I would
blame Barack Hussein Obama. He was the one who lifted the Mexico City policy
after he'd been President of the United States for only three days. I am horrified
again to point out that United States money now funds abortion OVERSEAS.
Visually, it almost seems like the innocent, spilled blood is now beginning to
arrive on our shores.
Of course, the relentless drilling for oil is probably damaging the earth and making
the mantle unstable, too. Maria Esperanza, a great Catholic mystic, said that the core
of the earth was out of balance. Yes, literally that is true. The world is also 'out
of balance' because we're missing 100's of millions of people who had a unique
contribution to make in this world. For example, Mother Teresa said that one day
the Lord told her a baby was aborted who had a cure for AIDS.
Remember Scott Roeder? He was the man who shot and killed abortionist George
Tiller. Tiller was commonly referred to as 'Tiller the baby killer.' It's interesting
that Roeder's name can be translated to mean 'from Roe' or 'of Roe.' I in no way
shape or form advocate his act or any kind of violence against the culture of death.
The only arms I suggest raising are those of prayer.
That being said, Scripture does say, 'He who lives by the sword dies by the sword.'
Tiller certainly experienced that Biblical prophecy firsthand. Roeder, who claimed
he was only trying to prevent more babies from being murdered by Tiller, was
sentenced on April 1, 2010. I literally fell across the pre-sentencing statements
he made while I was researching facts for this commentary. He said a few notable
things -
- On Thursday, Roeder told the court that Tiller "dismembered living children with
the nod of approval from the state." He said God's judgment against the U.S. will
"sweep over this land like a prairie wind." "He will avenge every drop of innocent
blood," Roeder said. (April 1, 2010)
The Governor of Florida, Charlie Crist (who unfortunately did nothing to save Terri
Schiavo while she was being murdered by the state of Florida) recently said this -
- "I've been in Pensacola and I am very, very concerned about this filth in the Gulf
of Mexico. It's not a spill, it's a flow."
A flow. That's an interesting characterization. Has 'every drop of innocent blood,' as
Roeder characterized it, now become 'a flow' because Obama struck down the Mexico
City Policy? The sea is streaked with what resembles blood in the Gulf of Mexico and death
has now come calling.
And the filth that Crist mentioned; How many babies are slaughtered each year
because of the filth and porn in our society?
How many babies are crushed because of the entertainment industry which very often
fuels every sort of immoral act? Human sacrifice can be a result of this 'filth.' Many of the
areas that may be most affected are actual havens of such impurity. The blood of
innocent babies has literally bathed this earth. God help us.
Many 'environmentalists' are often the ones who constantly call for population control
when it concerns human beings. Our job is to make the world a better place and be the
good stewards God intended us to be. We are to worship the Creator not creation. When
we elevate creatures above God, and those made to the image and likeness of God, we do
the creatures no favor. My heart breaks to see these poor animals suffering. Truly, this is a
penance in itself.
I didn't even mention the United States treatment of Israel in recent days. Or how
the liberal media has relentlessly attacked the Vicar of Christ - Pope Benedict - a
truly Holy man.
The U.S. has some problems; big problems. Very possibly the top three which God
abhors the most:
- 1. The murder of the innocents (now worldwide, because of Barack Hussein Obama)
2. The rejection and betrayal of Israel (because of Barack Hussein Obama)
3. The liberal U.S. (Obama loving) media's targeting of the Vicar of Christ on earth
(while Obama leads heretical Catholics away from the Church like some eerie
pied piper...)
Plagues upon plagues...
So, if someone says this devastating spill is BP's fault, I think I'll disagree now and say
it's BO's fault.
