Tree of Life Sword Commentary - August 28, 2008

Let evil have no place among you

I once heard it said that if you reject a small cross you will end up getting a
    larger one.

Three years ago, in New Orleans, they planned on having a sin laden event
called the 'southern decadence festival' but a hurricane, named Katrina,
    canceled it.

Katrina, by the way, means 'purity.'

This was especially meaningful since the festival is a homosexual porn fest
where they do unspeakable things in the streets.  There are, believe it or not,
laws against such activities.  In the old days, it was called public indecency.
Today, it's called public lewdness.  At these homosexual events, such laws
apparently are not enforced.  A counter charge of 'homophobia' would
no doubt be lodged against any municipality. Today, that's enough to stop
any government agency in it's tracks.

Speaking of tracks...Hurricane Gustav is headed for New Orleans.  The
storm should arrive there the day after this weekend's 'southern decadence
    festival.'

In German Gustav means 'staff of God.'

And I heard another voice from heaven, saying: Go out from her, my
people; that you be not partakers of her sins, and that you receive not
of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and the Lord
    hath remembered her iniquities.

                                                          - Apocalypse 18:4-5

Louisiana's Governor, Bobby Jindal, is supposedly a devout Catholic.
It has even been reported that he was involved in an exorcism in college.
He has the opportunity, I believe, to turn this storm away from the
    state, or reduce it's intensity.

Many times in the Old Testament, Scripture would say that a certain King
'caused Israel to sin.' This would bring suffering to the people of Israel.
The opposite also applied.  In those times Israel would dwell in peace and
    prosperity.

"Fasting and prayer can stop wars and suspend the laws of nature."

                                                   - Our Lady of Medjugorge (July 21, 1982)

I don't believe the people of Louisiana can just let this garbage take place
in the streets and say their prayers. I think they have to fight against the filth
that seems to have especially overtaken New Orleans.  If the Governor fights
such immorality, he will, no doubt, get support from the majority of the people
in Louisiana. Otherwise, by refusing this smaller cross, and seeking to please
men rather than God, I believe they will suffer a chastisement. Penance and
    purification may arrive, yet again.

Please pray that our leaders may have courage, for the protection of those
who have mourned the decline of our culture, and for the repentance of
those who need to change course.
