According to the Hebrew calendar, Saturday will mark an
anniversary celebrated by Jews called Shushan Purim.
This observance celebrates the victory of the Persian
Jews over a decree instigated by the country's Prime
Minister which called for the extermination of all Jewish
people.
The decree went out on the 13th of the month and was
ordered to be carried out on the 13th of a later month.
Queen Esther, secretly a Jew, interceded before the
Persian King for her people and put an end to the
diabolical plan. * Purim 2012 is 3/7 to 3/9.
This coincidence wasn't lost while observing the news.
Persia is the name historically associated with Iran.
The government of that country has made no secret of
their goal to incinerate Israel.
This Sunday also marks the anniversary of the passing of
Jacinta Marto, one of the young children whom Our Lady
of Fatima appeared to in 1917. May 13th was Our Lady's
first appearance in Portugal. The Blessed Mother promised
to appear to the children on the 13 of each month for 6
months. This apparition of the Blessed Mother has been
linked to Queen Esther's intercession in the Old Testament.
There was also a star on the lower portion of Mary's dress
that corresponded to the Old Testament queen.

Sr. Lucia, the last surviving seer of Fatima, died six years
ago on February 13, 2005.

prayed for the Mother of God's intercession to end World
War I. The Pope wrote his plea for peace in a letter dated
May 5, 1917:
'Our earnestly pleading voice, invoking the end of the vast
conflict, the suicide of civilized Europe, was then and has
remained ever since unheard. Indeed, it seemed that the dark
tide of hatred grew higher and wider among the belligerent
nations, and drew other countries into its frightful sweep,
multiplying ruin and massacre. Nevertheless Our confidence
was not lessened .... Since all graces which the Author of all
good deigns to grant to the poor children of Adam, by a
loving design of His Divine Providence are dispensed through
the hands of the most holy Virgin, we wish that the petition
of Her most afflicted children, more than ever in this terrible
hour, may turn with lively confidence to the august Mother
of God. Pope Benedict XV asked for recourse to the Heart
of Jesus through the intercession of Mary.'
He ordered that the invocation 'Queen of Peace, pray for
us' be permanently added to the Litany of Loreto. After
placing the peace of the world in her hands, Pope Benedict
continued:
'To Mary, then, who is the Mother of Mercy and omnipotent
by grace, let loving and devout appeal go up from every
corner of the earth – from noble temples and tiniest chapels,
from royal palaces and mansions of the rich as from the
poorest hut – from blood-drenched plains and seas. Let it
bear to Her the anguished cry of mothers and wives, the
wailing of innocent little ones, the sighs of every generous
heart: that Her most tender and benign solicitude may be
moved and the peace we ask for be obtained for our agitated
world.'
She appeared in Fatima, Portugal, 8 days later on May 13th.
Coincidently, we recently heard a similar plea from Pope
Benedict XVI lamenting the state of the world. He indicated
that, for all practical purposes, only divine intervention
could save mankind at this point in history. Things have
so degenerated, humankind seems no longer capable of
moral reason. The Holy Father used solar imagery in
describing the sad state of our world. He bemoaned an
'eclipse of reason' and also claimed 'the sun was setting'
the same way a darkness prefigured the fall of the Roman
Empire.
Israel and May 13th...
Here is an invitation to the signing of the Israeli declaration
of Independence. It is dated May 13th, the day before the
event. Purim was celebrated on the 14th and 15th of the
month. What a wonderful fulfillment of joy and victory May
14, 1948, proved to be.
Of course the Fatima apparitions ended with a confirmation
from Almighty God when the sun 'lost it's regular motion'
and tumbled toward the earth on October 13, 1917. The
Blessed Mother promised a miracle and God certainly
delivered. After a relentless, driving rain, clothes and mud
were dried in an instant after the solar phenomenon.
On 11/2/1917, 20 Days after the Miracle of the sun in Fatima,
the Balfour Declaration was signed. This was a British
declaration favoring the establishment of a Jewish state in
Israel.
** Another correlation of sorts-Egypt's government, which
was at peace with Israel, fell on 2/11/2011.
Let's veer back to the Fatima Miracle-Balfour Declaration 20
day interval...
I did a Scripture search on '20 days' --
Daniel 10:13 caught my attention (10/13 being the date of
the solar miracle).
Persia again...
'But the prince of the kingdom of the Persians resisted me
one and twenty days: and behold Michael, one of the chief
princes, came to help me, and I remained there by the king of
the Persians.'
Again, Persia is now modern day Iran. Here's the story
behind the name change.
I ran across a video a while back that indicated Persia
changed it's name in the 30's due to a fondness for the
Nazi agenda (Iran meaning Aryan). Regardless of the
reason for the name change, the term 'Aryan' nation
should send a chill up all of our spines.
** Note-I tried to find the video that claimed a Nazi-Persia-
Iran link but it's proven increasingly difficult to retain
videos criticizing the president or radical Islam on the
internet. The videos are being 'removed by user' or
accounts are being suspended or secular news sites are
breaking the links. So much for free speech! But thanks
be to God - at least they're not throwing us in jail, yet...
Years ago I noticed an interesting Scripture about the
sun losing it's regular motion. The numbers 10 and 13
corresponded to this scripture verse and, again, are
identical to the month and day of the miracle of the sun.
[13] And the sun and the moon stood still, till the people
revenged themselves of their enemies. Is not this written in
the book of the just? So the sun stood still in the midst of
heaven, and hasted not to go down the space of one day.

Here is the story (it involves Joshua's victory over the
people of Gideon). This was the first battle after the
Israelites crossed the Jordan. The very first battle led
by Joshua happened after the exodus out of Egypt.
God honored Joshua's request to stop the sun. He not
only suspended the laws of nature but also hurled huge
hailstones down on the enemies of Israel.
Coincidently, an effect of nuclear war would also involve
large hailstones. The heat of a blast is also constantly
compared to the heat of the sun.
Sort of sounds like a miracle of the sun similar to the one
which marked the end of Our Lady's apparitions in Fatima
Portugal on 10/13/1917, doesn't it?
Our Lady appeared over an oak tree in the Portugal
apparitions. Before he died, Joshua placed a 'great stone'
under an oak as a testimony to Israel's witness to God's
word.
'And he wrote all these things in the volume of the law of the
Lord: and he took a great stone, and set it under the oak that
was in the sanctuary of the Lord.'
So, as we recently saw an apparent supernatural video
image of a 'pale horse' ride out of Egypt which was followed
by intense signs (solar flares) from the sun, I'm guessing
we're witnessing heavenly warnings regarding some very
earth shaking events soon to come. Messages allegedly
from the Blessed Mother to a man in Brazil are constantly
warning that 'God is in a hurry.'
Speaking of time -
'But of that day or hour no man knoweth, neither the angels
in heaven, nor the Son, but the Father. Take ye heed, watch
and pray. For ye know not when the time is.'

Is the final chapter of this world now looming?
All things considered, it appears we may be witnessing
the opening acts of some major upcoming events in the
near future.
