This was the Scripture story I randomly turned to at
least 3 nights in a row about 3 years ago. It truly is
astonishing to continually find yourself on the same
page of Scripture night after night after just randomly
opening the Bible. If you'd like to 'cut to the chase'

I recommend the entire passage.
Surviving Hiroshima...
There were a handful of priests living 8 blocks from
ground zero in Hiroshima who survived the bombing
with no ill effects. They all lived many years after the
nuclear blast which took place on the Feast of the
Transfiguration, August 6th, 1945. (I'd also like to note
here that some scientists believe the Shroud of Turin
was formed by a similar, nuclear type event.)
The priests were living the Fatima message of
reparation and devotion which subsequently led
them being a modern day example of the Scripture
story I noted earlier.
Although I present various prophecies here and relay
many potential threats in our world today, it has
become glaringly obvious in these perilous times
that the most reliable form of protection is to be the
best, most faithful Catholics possible. More
than ever, we must adhere to the laws and traditions
of Holy Mother Church - the bride of Christ.
Please understand, it isn't my objective to condemn
anyone in this blog. I hope and pray to only point out
the truth (which is now controversial enough!) and
leave the rest to your contemplation and discernment.
We should only seek to do the Father's will while
carefully treading the spiritual minefield of our world
and observing the 'signs of the times.'
Japan's Lent...
On the first Friday of Lent, Japan was hit with a
massive magnitude 9 earthquake which was
followed by a 33 foot tsunami wave.
Fridays in Lent point us to Christ's crucifixion.
It is also a day of abstinence for Catholics. In an aside,
I wonder how many Catholics today adhere to this act
of penance? It is under the pain of sin to deliberately
not abstain from meat on Fridays. Considering current
events, it's interesting to note that fish contain
potassium iodide because they eat seaweed. This
substance helps to naturally shield the thyroid from
radioactivity. The 'cloud' containing possible
radioactivity from Japan is due to arrive in the U.S.
on Friday. Being a faithful Catholic is good for you in
all ways - especially physically, in this case!
The Japanese earthquake struck about 14 minutes
before 3 pm. 3 pm, of course, is the time of Christ's
death on the cross.
The quake was upgraded to a 9, a number Scripturally
symbolic of finality or judgment.
It is apparently a fact that faith for many in Japan is
not a priority. This is sad and also, at this point in
time, quite a dangerous proposition.
In Judaism and Christianity we're taught about the
faithful remnant of the righteous who sustain the
world by their prayers. The Talmud speaks of 36
righteous men who support the continued existence
of the world by their prayerful presence. When I saw
a reportedly unrelated tremor which occurred in
Central Japan measuring 6.3, after the main quake, I
couldn't help thinking of the 36 righteous men. Of
course, the number was reversed. Usually the
reverse of anything implies the opposite.
The mayor of Tokyo said, "I think [the disaster] is
tembatsu (divine punishment), although I feel sorry
for disaster victims." Sadly, he later backed away
from his comments.
A South Korean minster said, "Because the Japanese
people shun God in terms of their faith and follow idol
worship, atheism, and materialism, it makes me
wonder if this was not God’s warning to them."
Let me be clear. I'm not insinuating that God sent
the destructive earthquake. I don't claim to know the
mind of the Almighty. It is true this world is a fallen,
naturally dangerous place where it is absolutely
necessary to have God's protective hand hovering
over an area at all times. I do believe some people
can literally chase God out. He is the ultimate
gentleman. He will not stay where He isn't wanted.
I also believe if the Creator leaves, the destroyer -
satan - eventually fills the vacuum.
Our world right now is reeling due to volcanoes,
seismic activity, wars and disregard for God's
commandments (because people fear man
rather than God). The root of all of this, I believe,
is abortion - a sin which has drenched the earth
with the blood of innocent, defenseless babies.
The current president of the United States lifted the
Mexico City Policy after 3 days in office so he could
use our money to kill babies throughout the world.
This is terrorism of the highest order. It is also
probably why so many of the dangers and plagues
affecting the U.S. now involve the word 'Mexico' in
one way or another. In this way, God continues to tap
the United States on the shoulder...
Simply put, to wander in this world aside from the
protective hand of Jesus Christ is downright
dangerous right now.
We have also seen many high profile examples
of 'finality and judgment' in the news last year
continuing through 2011.
Where can we find shelter?
We all need to pray for God's protection as things
spin out of control. We also need to move forward,
as Catholics, without fear under the protective,
guiding light Christ has given us on this earth: the
one, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. It is the
Church He established with Sacraments meant to
protect us and keep us holy. He also left us a
Shepherd until He returns: the Holy Roman Pontiff.
We need to listen well to Pope Benedict now, even
though the media continues to willingly or unwittingly
serve satan by using the sins of a few to silence Holy
Mother Church. The Roman Catholic Church is the
last consistent moral voice on earth.
So as Japan is struggling AGAINST this world's
version of 'power' and we watch futile images of
aircraft dousing water on the poisoned site, I can't
help thinking of the hundreds of times I've seen
priests sprinkle various Catholic congregations with
Holy water. And as we hear of 'white smoke' rising
from the area, I can't help thinking of the many times
I've waited to see the 'white smoke' rise over St.
Peter's indicating the election of a new Pope.
The name of this particular type of nuclear reactor
is a 'Mark 1.' Here's a link to the first Chapter of the

At this point in Salvation History it is imperative to
leave aside the things that bind us to this world and
lift our hearts to Christ and His Mother. They are the
only ones who can save us. The earth as we know it
is passing away, my friends, and all of man's toxic
idols with it. I have no doubt all our idols will become
dust as we approach the 'great and terrible day of the
Lord.' I would also be willing to bet that when Jesus
Christ returns no iPods or iPads will be operative.
I'll miss them but I much prefer the great 'I AM.'
So as the pundits and the worldly people try to cling
to things which are doomed to pass away (and are
practically laughing themselves to death while doing
so) - don't worry - look up - for our redemption is
slowly but very surely drawing nigh.
Jesus, I trust in You.
