Tree of Life Sword Commentary In the 16th century the Blessed Mother appeared in Mexico under the title Our Lady of Guadalupe, converting millions of Aztecs to Christianity. This was a culture which was centered on human sacrifice. To this day, the tilma that bears the miraculous image of Our Lady still resides in the Basilica in Mexico City. In 2007 Mexico legalized abortion. How astounding it is that a Country which once rejected human sacrifice could once again turn to such a demonic agenda. God's way is to be fruitful and multiply. The devil's agenda is exactly the opposite. Simply stated; God is love while the devil is all about hate. God is the Creator, while satan is the destroyer. So when the Obama administration overturned the Mexico City Policy in January and began using our money to fund abortions worldwide, satan mocked God again. The 'Mexico City policy' refers to a declaration by the Reagan administration during a United Nations meeting which took place in that city over 2 decades ago. That administration, much to the dismay of many in the United Nations, rejected using American taxpayer's money to forward the abortion agenda overseas. Lately, it's been very encouraging to hear that various areas of Mexico have tried to block this cancerous agenda of death. I have no doubt that an element of protection, through the intercession of Our Lady, will be a fruit of their localized efforts. On to some of the interesting celestial events surrounding these recent times. We remember that in the Book of Genesis God said that celestial events would be for signs and for seasons: Real signs not horoscopes! On April 22nd we had a meteor shower early in the morning. Venus also put on quite a show beginning at approximately 3:00 am. The mother planet, which is another name for Venus, appeared under the crescent moon and then disappeared behind it and the darkened area of the moon. According to my astronomy software, this was right at the moment the moon rose over the Mexico City horizon. Generally, I thought the events were quite striking, especially during a meteor shower. It was cloudy here in Upstate New York, so I didn't give it much additional thought until I was staring at the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe Sunday morning. The day before, I put a photo of the conjunction on my site. Sunday morning I found myself marvelling at the similarities in the each of the moon's phases. To set this up, may I say that I don't really pay much attention to sports anymore. However, I do remember that a person's position on the field is usually decided by the placement of their feet. With that in mind take a look at the event which took place on the 22nd. Then look where Our Lady's feet are in the Miraculous image of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Her feet are on the angels shoulders. She isn't standing on the moon, as many have described. In those days, Kings and Queens would very often be carried on the shoulders of the people. This indicated the respect due those of Royalty. So for all practical purposes, she is standing on the spot where Venus, the mother planet was, during the sign in the sky on April 22nd. Interestingly, on my astronomy software, part of the image of the constellation Pisces seems to form a ghostly image of the Virgin over the planet's conjunction with the moon. Finally, look again, as I did Sunday night. She is standing behind the moon. The crescent is in front of her ankles! This is quite an appropriate fact, considering that later in the conjunction the mother planet ended up behind the moon. Recently, Hillary Clinton visited the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico's Basilica. She stood in front of the image which is now known as 'the Patroness of the unborn.' Our Lady of Guadalupe is the icon of the pro-life movement. In a profound display of arrogance, Hillary went to Texas the next day and received an award from Planned Parenthood. What can I say? Her boss, Barack Obama, discarded the Mexico City Policy early this year and now demands U.S. citizens fund abortions worldwide. Coincidently, early last week I was reading some words of warning from Canadian seer Jim Singer. He says that Christ has warned that satan has been preparing new diseases to afflict mankind ( He specifically named STD's). Christ said safety lies in conversion and a return to His embrace. Sadly, it looks like prodigal mankind is still remaining with the pigs in the trough, resisting a return to the Father, who continues a patient vigil. Mexico City has prayed that Our Lady of Guadalupe would quell the epidemic. Again, Mexico city has adopted one of the most liberal abortion policies in Latin America. Today, there was a 6.0 earthquake that caused buildings in Mexico city to sway. Do you think Heaven could be trying to ask them to do something? Having abortion in a City that should have firmly rejected that agenda is an abomination to Our Lady. In 2007, after they legalized abortion, her image in the Basilica glowed with an odd light that resembled a baby in the womb. Does her image and the recent sign in the sky now warn us against continuing the slaughter of the most innocent? Is the image prophetic in nature for our world today? Make no mistake; Chase the Creator out and you get the destroyer. A world that rejects God rejects love. A world that destroys embryos and exploits life in the name of progress and 'helping people' will soon find itself on the wrong side of a just God.
