Considering the recent official approval of the Notre Dame Du Laus apparition, I've been wondering why more attention hasn't been paid to similar heavenly warnings in the past. I recall reading one supposed message from Our Lord Jesus Christ where He supposedly said that He had sent His Mother for years upon years to warn people to repent of their sins. His frustrated tone indicated that the response was weak, at best. I understand that some people feel that speaking about such things is all about 'gloom and doom.' They believe it is best to stay positive and not worry about the state of the world. This attitude, I submit, is a classic 'head in the sand' mentality. It demands a daily existence which is in complete denial of reality. Since Jesus Christ referred to satan (no I don't capitalize his name) as the prince of this world the case can be made that being worldly is surely a bad spiritual sign. Jesus used the Beatitudes to point this out saying: "Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after justice: for they shall have their fill. Blessed are ye when they shall revile you, and persecute you, and speak all that is evil against you, untruly, for My sake: Be glad and rejoice, for your reward is very great in heaven. For so they persecuted the prophets that were before you." Jesus Christ also said that if the world hates us we must remember that it hated Him also. When a person points out certain things which are wrong with the world, it isn't about being negative, it's simply about being in touch with reality. The Blessed Mother has warned us through these messages to return to the narrow path. She has appeared in many different places for almost 2 thousand years. While we have very nice statues of her as Our Lady of Lourdes, Our Lady of Fatima, Our Lady of Akita and now Notre Dame Du Laus (Our Lady of Praise), she has come to admonish and encourage us. The statues, of course, are very nice but it is important for the world to heed her messages. Lately, I've found myself wondering if the messages of this newly recognized apparition in France could have prevented the radical secularization of that country. After all, we are talking about the words of the Mother of God. She should be given the pulpit, so to speak, since she is attempting to save souls and bring them back to her Divine Son. Regarding the times we live in: I had a dream on July 4, 2006. Something in the sky that resembled the Moon (which sometimes can be a symbol for mankind) caught fire and then a skull appeared. I had the impression that this was meant to signify the world. Then satan (no I don't capitalize it...) appeared in front of the moon looking like a robot type figure with all sorts of neon signs that were blinking 'evil' and various other words which I can't specifically recall. I do remember that they were shallow 'worldly' words describing sins, etc... The scene had a sort of gaudy Las Vegas strip type effect. At the time, I was out with a group of people in an outdoor type restaurant and everyone decided to go home, because it was apparent that something was going to begin. I offered to explain what had been warned in various apparitions and prophecies to one of the younger, confused onlookers, but then I woke up. Right before I awoke I heard the words: "If men don't repent and better themselves the Father will inflict a terrible punishment. Fire will fall from the sky and wipe out a great part of humanity." This was one of our Blessed Mother's warnings when she appeared in Akita Japan, a Church approved apparition. That very day North Korea defied Japan, and the U.S., by testing several missiles in the sea of Japan. My point here is that maybe we should start listening to the Blessed Mother. Tell people, if the conversation turns to the world's turmoil, that she is speaking and warning mankind to turn from evil. I would also love to hear the full messages of Notre Dame Du Laus. From what I've heard they are quite potent. If mankind continues to disregard our real Mother's warnings...The Blessed Mother...Not "mother earth", we just may find ourselves totally unprepared for tribulation never before experienced on this earth. 11:55PM 5-11-2008 Mother's Day |
