There are now confirmed reports that U.S. troops are heading for
Israel. Anyone familiar with Scripture should be seeing red flags
regarding these developments. I always expected to hear of U.N.
troop deployments which would echo that familiar Scripture, 'When
you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, flee to the mountains.'

Why mountains if those words were meant for our times?

Do you recall how a monastery in Nagasaki survived a nuclear
blast in WWII? Not only were the monks there living the 'message
of Fatima' that the Blessed Mother shared with the world, they were
also shielded by a mountain. Ignoring objections from the locals,
Saint Maximallian Kolbe insisted the building be put there.

So, I'm sure you can see the possible linkage to Christ's words about
mountains and the nuclear threat Iran poses right now in the Middle
East. Apparently, in a purely physical sense mountains can be your
friend in the event of a nuclear detonation.

On May 12, 2009, the Holy Father held Mass in the Kidron Valley,
also known as the Valley of Josaphat. This date is the day before
the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima (May 13th). We all know the 'grand
finale' of that apparition when the sun appeared to fall from the sky
terrifying approximately 70,000 onlookers who came to see a
promised miracle. Nuclear bombs have often been compared to
the power of the sun.

Warnings from above....

In 2011, a friend observed an interesting coincidence. It was the
30th anniversary of Medjugorje, the 50th anniversary of Garabandal
and 80 years since the Divine Mercy apparitions. It was also an even
half decade anniversary for many other apparitions. Check out the
list I've compiled. On it are either Church approved apparitions or
events that haven't received a definitive judgment:

As of the year 2011 -

Our Lady of Walsingham 950 years

Our Lady of Guadalupe. 480 years

Our Lady of LaSalette 165 years

Our Lady of Pontmain 140 years

Our Lady of Fatima (an angel appeared first in 1916)  95 years

Divine Mercy (apparitions of Jesus Christ) 80 years

Our Lady of America   55 years

Our Lady of Garabandal 50 years

Rwanda, Africa 30 years

Our Lady of Medjugorje 30 years

When Our Lady appeared in Africa she said:

'There isn't much time left in preparing for the Last Judgment. We
must change our lives; renounce sin. Pray and prepare for our own
death and for the end of the world. We must prepare while there is
still time. Those who do well will go to Heaven. If they do evil, they
will condemn themselves with no hope of appeal. Do not lose time
in doing good and praying. There is not much time and Jesus will
come.'

The Pope implores Christ...

During his Christmas Eve homily, the Pope invoked Christ saying,
'Manifest Your power.'  I think this was practically a year to the day
after the Holy Father pretty much said the world was so far gone
(my words) that mere human intervention couldn't correct the
situation. Now, one year later, the Pope asks God DIRECTLY to
intervene. You can bet God will act because the Holy Father is
Christ's representative on earth. He is a modern day Moses, King
David or Abraham. God has always had a representative on earth
and their words always carry weight.

Wars and rumors...

A few weeks ago, I remember reading reports that our troops were
gathering near the Syrian border. This is just north of Israel, folks.
The armies sure look to be nearing their 'end time' positions. Now
we hear of a deployment to Israel. This means our army will be
in the neighborhood of the Valley of Jezreel (Megiddo) located
north of Jerusalem. They will also be near the area where Pope
Benedict celebrated Holy Mass 3 years ago this March. The Kidron
Valley or 'Valley of Josaphat.'  It runs next to Jerusalem and
means 'God will judge.'

As I mentioned before, the Blessed Mother has allegedly been
appearing for 30 years in Medjugorje, Yugoslavia. She's told those
seers that her apparitions there would be her last on earth. Let's
take a look at her January 2, 2012 message to Mirjana Soldo:

'Dear children; As with motherly concern I look in your hearts, in
them I see pain and suffering; I see a wounded past and an incessant
search; I see my children who desire to be happy but do not know
how. Open yourselves to the Father. That is the way to happiness,
the way by which I desire to lead you. God the Father never leaves
His children alone, especially not in pain and despair. When you
comprehend and accept this, you will be happy. Your search will end.
You will love and you will not be afraid. Your life will be hope and
truth which is my Son. Thank you. I implore you, pray for those whom
my Son has chosen. Do not judge because you will all be judged.'

'You all will be judged.' That comment seems a little 'Valley of
Josaphat' - ish, if you ask me.

Scripture says the Lord will judge all the nations in the Valley of
Josaphat. The prophecy of Joel reads:

'Let them arise, and let the nations come up into the valley of Josaphat:
for there I will sit to judge all nations round about. Put ye in the sickles,
for the harvest is ripe: come and go down, for the press is full, the fats
run over: for their wickedness is multiplied. Nations, nations in the
valley of destruction: for the day of the Lord is near in the valley of
destruction. The sun and the moon are darkened, and the stars have
withdrawn their shining.'

Considering the latest news headlines...I'd be ready for pretty much
anything: As Our Lady of Medjugorje says, 'Pray, pray, pray.'

** Another contemporary Catholic prophecy which is under the spiritual
direction of a priest is called,
'Words from Jesus.' These messages
began in 2001 so it fits into our decade or half decade pattern which
became obvious in 2011. Many other 'private revelations' are speaking
in more dire tones recently.
