


From Matthew 24:
11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall seduce many. 12 And because iniquity
hath abounded, the charity of many shall grow cold. 13 But he that shall persevere to
the end, he shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom, shall be preached in the
whole world, for a testimony to all nations, and then shall the consummation come. 15
When therefore you shall see the abomination of desolation, which was spoken of by
Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place: he that readeth let him understand.
16 Then they that are in Judea, let them flee to the mountains: 17 And he that is on
the housetop, let him not come down to take any thing out of his house: 18 And he that
is in the field, let him not go back to take his coat. 19 And woe to them that are with
child, and that give suck in those days. 20 But pray that your flight be not in the winter,
or on the sabbath.
21 For there shall be then great tribulation, such as hath not been from the beginning
of the world until now, neither shall be. 22 And unless those days had been
shortened, no flesh should be saved: but for the sake of the elect those days shall
be shortened. 23 Then if any man shall say to you: Lo here is Christ, or there, do not
believe him. 24 For there shall arise false Christs and false prophets, and shall shew
great signs and wonders, insomuch as to deceive (if possible) even the elect.
25 Behold I have told it to you, beforehand.
26 If therefore they shall say to you: Behold he is in the desert, go ye not out:
Behold he is in the closets, believe it not. 27 For as lightning cometh out of the
east, and appeareth even into the west: so shall the coming of the Son of man be.
28 Wheresoever the body shall be, there shall the eagles also be gathered together.
29 And immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun shall be darkened
and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the
powers of heaven shall be moved: 30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of
man in heaven: and then shall all tribes of the earth mourn: and they shall see the Son
of man coming in the clouds of heaven with much power and majesty.
I have chosen this Scripture because I feel it relates directly to our present moment. I could be
wrong, but I truly believe that the most radical pro-abortion (and pro-infanticide) politician delivering
a eulogy in a Catholic Church could constitute Saint Matthews described, 'abomination of
desolation standing in the holy place.' Matthew points to Daniel the prophet, not Danny the
hurricane, which will be no doubt adding Holy Spirit-like wind to the event. Daniel means 'God
is my judge.' Isn't it odd that a hurricane with the Prophet's name will be barrelling directly north
toward the funeral. It's also possible it could make a direct hit on Cape Cod...Danny...Daniel.
Next there's the fact that many faux Catholic politicians, who rabidly and relentlessly forward
the culture of death, will probably line up to receive the Body of Christ, unworthily. This isn't
my personal bugaboo; Canon law clearly states:
"Presenting oneself to receive Holy Communion should be a conscious decision,
based on a reasoned judgment regarding one’s worthiness to do so, according to
the Church’s objective criteria, asking such questions as: “Am I in full communion
with the Catholic Church? Am I guilty of grave sin? Have I incurred a penalty (e.g.
excommunication, interdict) that forbids me to receive Holy Communion? Have I
prepared myself by fasting for at least an hour? The practice of indiscriminately
presenting oneself to receive Holy Communion, merely as a consequence of being
present at Mass, is an abuse that must be corrected.
"...There may be a legitimate diversity of opinion even among Catholics about
waging war and applying the death penalty, but not however with regard to
abortion and euthanasia"
When “these precautionary measures have not had their effect or in which they
were not possible,” and the person in question, with obstinate persistence, still
presents himself to receive the Holy Eucharist, “the minister of Holy Communion
must refuse to distribute it.”
"This decision, properly speaking, is not a sanction or a penalty. Nor is the
minister of Holy Communion passing judgment on the person’s subjective guilt,
but rather is reacting to the person’s public unworthiness to receive Holy
Communion due to an objective situation of sin."
So do you think the pro-aborts are going to refrain from presenting themselves to receive Holy
Communion during Senator Kennedy's funeral Mass? One would hope so, considering they've
been repeatedly warned to do so to by the Catholic Church.
Jesus said to the first Bishops; the Apostles, 'He who hears you hears Me.'
He also said the Holy Spirit would guide the Church 'in all truth.'
I also have to admit I find it questionable that Senator Kennedy's funeral is even being held in a
Catholic Church, considering he was one of the main architects of the culture of death in the
United States. Unrepentant public sin which is also referred to as 'scandal.' We all fall short, yes,
but we all don't vote to allow the savage murders of 40 million of our defenseless brothers and
sisters - the most innocent among us. The ones who should be the MOST PROTECTED - Our
Posterity.
From the first sentence of the U.S. Constitution:
We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union,
establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common
defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty
to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the
United States of America.
Perhaps the main reason Barack Obama managed to win the election is because many Catholics
think this is no big deal. Getting 8 dollars extra in your paycheck is more important than worrying
about defenseless babies being attacked and dismembered in a place where they should be the
most safe-their mothers' wombs. Obama, or Lightning (as I like to call him) garnered 54 percent of
the Catholic vote. Granted, many Catholics didn't know he repeatedly voted against giving any aid
to babies who survived an abortion. He believed that giving help or medical attention to the least of
these would constituted a threat to Roe v. Wade. Woe to those Catholics who voted for this man
knowing he held this evil position. Several priests said they thought such persons should go to
confession. They were predictably mocked. I think they were absolutely right.
Many of you know that I, and many others, believe that Obama could be the 'lawless one,' as
described by Saint Paul. He is also referred to as the beast of the Book of the Apocalypse or the
final 'Antichrist.' Our Lady of Medjugorje recently asked if we could see the 'signs of the times.'
Isn't it kind of eerie that Kennedy, an off the rails Catholic, passed away while Obama, AKA
Lightning, was nearby in the 'Vineyard' (Martha's Vineyard)? Kennedy, of course, could have
confessed all sins before passing away. However, his public, unwavering support for a host of
immoral issues, namely abortion, continued to the bitter end.
The Gospel has been preached to the whole world and knowledge has increased. The idea now is
that man will create 'artificial life' in a few months. Every assault on human life is taking place.
There is almost nothing left of God's to twist and disfigure....or exploit:
The future Pope told Peter Seewald: "God will take action to counter
an ultimate crime, an ultimate act of self-destruction, on the part of man.
He will take action against the attempt to demean mankind by the production
of slave beings. There are indeed final boundaries we cannot cross without
turning into the agents of the destruction of creation itself, without going far
beyond the original sin and the first Fall and all its negative consequences"

It appears we've found ourselves back in the Garden. Woman is offering man the fruit (of her
womb?) as a product to be exploited and quite literally consumed. If Jesus Christ is the Alpha and
Omega I wonder if Scripture is in this case. Is the beginning the end? The 'fall' is an awful lot to lay
on one woman (Eve)! Are we living this, somehow, today? Because if we are, I think we've rewound
the tape practically back to the beginning...
